Hello friends,
If you read my blog yesterday you will know that I was set on finishing old projects before I found any new treasures....BUT I COULDN'T HELP IT! My husband took me to a yard sale and they had exactly what I had been looking for on ebay, but better because it was only about $2.50!
It is a cast iron ladle set, I love it!
AAAAnd while I was there I thought I might as well pick up an old milk can that was less than $10. It wouldn't seem right to buy only one thing..
Do you blame me really? Really?
Yesterday I did try to finish a table runner that I have been working on for about 6 years, but I ruined it in my hastiness . So to heal my wounded ego I have decided to wait another 6 years to see if I can fix it,until then my pile of junk will just continue to accumulate.
Today I want to share my finds with:
Treasure hunt Thursday
Adios my friends
now those are something I gave away,, years ago.If I had known you then I would have given them to you!
ReplyDeleteI think you might just have the magic touch in six more years. Don't even think about throwing the ruined table runner away - you can save it!!!
ReplyDeleteI do love your cast iron ladle set. I have the fork and spoon - I'm glad to see the rest of the family.
And, how could you have passed up that blue milk can???
Thanks for coming to the party.
Rhonda
Fun post, Connie ... I can relate to your frustration. I spent the day sewing curtains and it took me forever to get things "right." I love your treasures. I have three of the cast iron pieces and think I might hang them on the side of my pantry. The milk can is great. That's a for sure winner. Thanks for visiting Cottage and Creek and have a lovely weekend.
